The Rolling Stones, 'Gloom & Doom' -- Lyric Video

The new Rolling Stones song "Gloom & Doom" is just awesome. It is the band's first new recording in seven years. To me, the song is catchy and has a nice, heavy edge. I wish the band would release an album of all new material, but who knows when (if) that will ever happen again.

The band will play a smattering of live shows in November and December.

Great song and amazing that after 50 years, they can still give bands half their age a run for their money. However I would have prefered a video with them playing/featuring the band.

This song is awesome! I love the heavy vibe. Catchy title also. Must be how the Obama camp is feeling these days!

Seriously CyberPunk? I cannot even come here without reading someone's political opinions?
NO ONE HERE CARES WHAT YOU OR ME OR ANYONE ELSE THINKS ABOUT POLITICS!!!!
This is supposed to be a fun safe haven.
Rant aside, song is shockingly good. Will not pay $150 for nose bleed seats to go see them though.
Every time I hear the Rolling Stones I am reminded of a quote Henry Rollins made on one of those VH1 list shows.
"Keith Richards is just a well paid junkie. very well paid."

This is good. Very good. Exile on Main St, a album that always puts me in the right groove.

Gotta say, this song is GREAT!

Best thing I've heard from The Stones since "She's So Cold" off "Emotional Rescue", their last good album, apparently, until now!

Kudos!

p.s. CyberPunk! The Obama Camp is doing wonderfully, thank you, as they know Obama will win a second term and things will begin to get exponentially better and better!

Im not really a Stones fan but I dig this song! Hey Cyberpunk too much politic talk usually ends bad even though I think your statement is right on! Metal boy must have some inside info or something because all I see is a beating so far with the KNOCK OUT coming!

Hey Metalboy, if you read this, give me some much needed reassurance on the projected Obama win. I'm from Columbus, Ohio, and obviously, my state WILL decide this election. Unfortunately, the low information voters seem to all be willing to elect Romney (usually, at their own peril). I just don't get it. Kerry lost the 2004 election because of one flip-flop and that dirty Swift Boat ad. Yet, Romney can have five different positions on any given issue, sometimes changing his mind multiple times within 24 hours. It's disgusting how he was demonstrating in SUPPORT of the Vietnam war as a young man in college, while at the same time receiving multiple deferments from the draft. Typical neocon, chickenhawk pussy. On another note, this Rolling Stones track is awesome, best song since "Emotional Rescue."

Obama will be more Rock and Roll than any other President except maybe Nixon (Who had Elvis in the Oval Office), hahaha!!!, when he will have already won the election while handing Led Zeppelin their Kennedy Honors just days after your rights as citizens will have been protected by the majority who will have voted Democratic. And it will be a near landslide!
