Bret Michaels To Release 'Good Songs & Great Friends'
As the title would suggest, the album features many of Bret's famous friends...doing Bret's songs, most of them from the 80s Poison days, including "Unskinny Bop" and "Talk Dirty to Me." Some of the folks on the record include Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Joe Perry of Aerosmith and even Miley Cyrus. C.C. DeVille is on this record too, but it's an old track: "Party Rock Band," which also happens to feature the drum work of the late Randy Castillo. Too bad Bret just doesn't get together with the rest of Poison to make a new album with the band that made him rich and famous in the first place, but I digress.

Nothing more to say.
. . . nice to see something related to Castillo though.
When the music gets this rehashed, & the sites cover this genre resort to covering something as stupid as a Slayer pullover sweater, it's just too embarrassing for glam & rock to continue to live.
It's over. Shut out the lights on your way out.
As Allyson points out, can't this guy get off his butt and take the thing he's really best known for no matter what he does, POISON, and make a great record of all original material, a la RATT, "Infestation" or CRÜE, "Saints of Los Angeles"?
This guy just continues to inflict his uninspiring lack of vision and originality on us, completely blind to the fact we expect more.
p.s. Ace, I actually think the Slayer Sweater is TOTAL Killarity. It's a prime example of the most clever kind of comedy -- deadpan wit AND irony. Rock in Peace, My Glam Metal Brother! Never fear, our cause is alive and well, despite the continuous "dumbing down of Rock and Roll" by the Bret Michaels of the world.
