Kia Uses Motley Crue To Sell Cars

Well, Motley Crue found their way into a SuperBowl commercial. The Kia ad is called "Drive the Dream" and features a dream of epic proportions. I can't wait to see this ad on my big screen during the game Sunday.

Check it out.

Didn't Nikki use cars to sell Motley in 1989 ( the 'Kickstart my heart' clip ) ?

Vince Neil should be banned from doing ANYTHING car related. Seeing as he murdered someone using one.

Nah, Christian. That now dubiously classic vid just showed stock footage of a 60's stock car crash and other stuff weaved into performance footage. I think it was a '64 Fairlane, if my memory serves me correctly. So Crüe wasn't so much as selling themselves with cars. More like selling Crue by figuratively destroying them.

As far as Vince Neil indirectly shuckin' cars or destroying them, Ace may have a point. Nevertheless, for someone not knowing the sordid details of Neil's past, the car stuff, whether it be this ultra clever commercial from David & Goliath Advertising in Los Angeles or the vid for "Kickstart My Heart", is For pure entertainment value.

It's kind of a reach to be flaggin' down (no pun intended) this commercial in relation to Vince's vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving history.

Thanks for sharing, Allyson! We thought 'Kickstart My Heart' would be a great way to get people's attention :) How did you like our ad's celebrity line up?

Cheers,
