Poll: When Will Aerosmith’s New Album Hit Stores?

Some news outlets are reporting that the release date for Aerosmith’s upcoming album, Music From Another Dimension, is now pushed back to November. The album was supposed to come out at the end of August. If I am remembering correctly, the new album has already been pushed back once. I’m now skeptical we’ll see the new Aerosmith record before the end of the year. Are you skeptical too? Take the poll below and vote on a release date.

I voted November as they may want to take advantage of the Holiday shopping season, but that can't be what it used to be for new albums. I could still see 'em stickin' with August.

Still ya gotta wonder if they might delay the impending album's release for another reason: The lukewarm response they received from the release of the album's advance single, "Legendary Child". Maybe they're rethinkin' the album, based on the song's tepid reception, remixing, maybe even writing and recording new songs.

Oh, and iTunes still has the release date for which you can preorder as August 28th, 2012.

. . . or perhaps those remixes are being held up because Tyler's sounding like one of the Fabulous Picasso Brothers (you know, the heftier of the two who kinda' looked like DLR!).

Couldn't help myself Metalboy! I missed your comments earlier this month.

I have no idea but I saw them for the first time last night in Toronto and it was awesome. Have always liked them but have never gotten around to seeing them live. They were amazing.

So I will get the new CD for sure. They played a few songs last night from it and they sounded great. Classic Aerosmith. I am in, no matter the date.

Him: the comments were read (eventually), but it is taking fletch a while to grasp, coupled with his dumbass fuck you/I don't care/fuck you, too, attitude...

Ah, the blissful life

on blabbermouth an interview with s. tyler he stated they were pushin the cd back because too many other artists were releasin cds at that time and didnt want to interfere with the other artists already scheduled release dates, sounds like bs and that there cd is shit and needs more work

Shoutouts to Fletch and HIM! I love you, too, guys, ya loveable frickin' pair a yutzes!

Anywho, Glamrockerarch -- you may be right but, on the other hand, if they do go back and rework the album, great! It will make it better, knowing them. Surely, the fact that "Legendary Child" stiffed may have had something to do with it.

Remember Aerosmith's last single that actually sounded like a hit, "Jaded"? Well, it's quite clear "Legendary Child" ain't know hit.

It may be trouble in paradise, but they will put it right, using the super powers of their ultra talent Rita witnessed the other night to fix it.

Note to Fletch: Wish I was seein' Pretty Boy Floyd. Look forward to your comments about the show!
