Just Because This Is Awesome: Cheap Trick and Bon Jovi, Live Together

Cheap Trick and Bon Jovi performed live together back in 1988. The songs are "Ain't That a Shame / Not Fade Away." This is quite possibly one of the Glamest things I've ever watched. Thanks to our own Metalboy! for sending along this great clip!

Want more? Here's Cheap Trick, Bon Jovi and Whitesnake performing a cover of ZZ Top's "Tush."

Here's Cheap Trick, Motley Crue and Bon Jovi doing a cover of the Elvis hit "Jailhouse Rock."

Gary...

You can always be "Gary Glamour"...

One thing I will say for Gary Glitter, "Rock & Roll Part II" is, for all it's simplicity, one of the best riffs ever.

"Doing All Right With The Boys" & "Do You Wanna Touch Me" are also great songs.
Ironic that their titles pretty much sum up his legal troubles, do they not?

um no. MB...gary glitter should be remembered for exactly who he is (and more importantly), for who he was...which defines (for ACE STEELE's understanding) where he was coming from to begin with.

for those interested...if you want to "rock out"...check out Alice and Co. performing "born this way".

Check out Metalboy's review of Mötley Crüe at Outlaw Jam from last year. Crüe, being the dyed in the leather GLAM Rockers that they are actually incorporate Gary Glitter's "Rock And Roll Part 2" (of NFL Stadium Playlist fame) into their "Grand Finale" medley of Encores at the end of their set.

You would have to go back and read the review as the Crue song it segues into and out of is mentioned. Interesting to note, despite Gary Glitter's beyond shameful criminal behavior, his GLAM anthem endures!
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!! I'm not even sure what to say, except that... Don't think I've ever seen anything this awesome, thanks both Ally and Metalboy! And I dig Bon Jovi's jacket too, gotta love the 80's look! Also, I think I need to work on my Glam name for the album cover... Can I play the cowbell? ;)
