Steven Tyler Scores Free Chipotle
Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 12:02AM
I'm pretty sure Steven Tyler is one of the richest musicians in the world, but hey, Chipotle gave him a year's worth of free food anyway (they even branded a burrito card for him specifically). He's a celeb and he lends cachet to the brand I suppose. Just think of all the blogs posting about this today... Chipotle definitely made a smart "advertising" move with this one!

reportedly, Richie Sambora (like the rest of bon jovi) are jon's salaried employees and he was under contract earning a base salary of 2 million/month.
This would be in addition to writing and publishing royalites. If this is true (and I suspect it is), jon is "rich"; simply for selling and hawking a dream.
so let steven tyler hawk chips...on second thought...No steve, what are you doing??? I thought you are a genuine rock star!
What'd be cool, is if Steven would actually take the time to go feed a single homeless person every day with this.
As for Jon Bongiovi, he's a joke. a shell of what was once cool. His tour is already sagging w/ empty & discounted seats without Sambora on board... I just got a notice from Goldstar.com, offering me heavily discounted tickets to their L.A. stop for as little as $17. Still not interested.
From what I can tell, other than a few sensationalized, public headlines, they have raised their children remarkably well given the public life that they lead. I've heard Dorothea talk about raising her children (especially when they were teenagers) and when they would start to act like a pampered rockstar, she would nip the attitude in the proverbial bud and remind her kids that their dad is the rockstar; not them...and quickly bring them back to reality.
Their kids could surely be another Lindsay Lohan or worse, Amy Winehouse, but they're not. My thoughts are pretty much the same about Howard Stern- I am a huge fan, but over the past couple of years, I've been tuning out, because I just don't really like his "band" that much anymore, but I still enjoy his interviews and I stil tune into his show to hear them. And, much like the Bongiovis (but even moreso), Howard and Allyson's kids have grown up to be very well adjusted adults.
As far as the overdose(s) you mentioned, well, I simply have a different philosophy regarding the 1980's "war on drugs" than what middle America "likes" to hear, so I'l keep it at that.
KDC: take some seratonin. the war is over.
How do you know it's good? Because the band despises it.
Gee, I wonder why that is? Because it compositionally overshadows their original material.
