Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween, everyone! There's no better song for today than Fastway's "Trick or Treat." I hope you all have a great holiday. I'm dressing up as a part of a group costume at work today. And then it's trick-or-treat in my neck of the woods tonight. Be sure to blast your metal for the kiddos!

A classic, with Fast Eddie and David King (now of _Flogging Molly_).

Keeping with the theme (since the movie was horror), how about _April Wine_ and "Rock Myself to Sleep" from _Fright Night_?

Good music, cheesy videos, even cheesier 80s movies.

Happy Halloween indeed.

Excellent album, really the best aside from their first which is propped up by "Say What You Will". This album has got it all... HAIR METAL hooks aplenty and one of THE Best Vocalists in the Business.

p.s. HIM, I love telling square chicks, even a few UNROCK chicks in their 20's I meet who are into all that boring sh*te like New Republic or Arcade Fire and have inevitably seen Flogging Molly, that this guy used to be a Heavy Metal singer, since most of 'em can't handle Hard Rock of any kind except maybe AC/DC or Zeppelin though you know they're just saying that, generally speaking. The conversation usually occurs ad infinitum on March 17th with Flogging Molly playing in the background.

This was a great album. The movie was so-so, but I saw it anyway to see Gene Simmons as the dj. Plus there was a hot Solid Gold dancer who played Sammy, so that was a bonus too.

Another good Halloween song choice - Fear of The Dark by Iron Maiden. A very creepy song and one of my favourites!

Happy Halloween everybody!

Great song. The movie was good cheesy 80s fun. Remember Ozzy playing the TV preacher? Speaking of Dave King, who remembers the band Katmandu? They did one album that he sang lead on. I think Mandy Meyer was in that band as well.

E-e-e-xcellent! So glad to see we are still celebrating Halloween!

More!...

Beyond The Realms Of Death -- Judas Priest
Mr. Crowley -- Ozzy Osbourne
Unholy -- KISS
Wake Up Dead -- Megadeth
Listen To The Preacher -- Tyrant
Poseurs Will Die -- Thrust
Give 'Em The Axe -- Lizzy Borden
Look Of Death -- Pandemonium
Death Rider -- Omen
Blood And Tears -- Danzig

I suppose you could throw some Slayer in there but their stuff patently sucks. Still, most certainly there are other Halloween tunes I'm forgetting.

Sweating Bullets by Megadeth. The sound of the guy coughing up blood and the evil laugh in the middle of the song makes it a dark one for me.
