Queensryche Release 'Ad Lucem'

Queensryche (Todd La Torre version) has finally released Ad Lucem, the mini movie they've been promoting for months. The movie features the songs "Spore," "Midnight Lullaby," and more. The film was created by Veva Entertainment Co. and directed by Daniel Andres Gomez Bagby.

The songs are from the new album Queensryche. Check it out.

That was cool. Well done. It's weird but I hear Tate in the songs more during the film than just audio. Like the music better in small bits cuz I'm not a huge ryche fan.

Well produced mediocrity. Coulda used a more clever twist at the end. Still, at least they tried.

p.s. Let's face it, they really only have 2 good songs -- "Queen Of The Riech" and "Jet City Woman" and even the later is pushing it.

Agree with your review MB. I would add Walk in the Shadows to your two "good songs".

What about "Take Hold of the Flame", "Empire"....several others. The first 3 or 4 records were great in my opinion.

I'm pretty much in agreement with Metalboy. Although I like "Empire" and would add it to your list!! That song kicks ass IMO.

Yeah, but "Queen Of The Reich" is head and shoulders superior over the rest of their stuff. I actually probably went a little overboard ranting (Who, moi?) about how much I dislike these guys when I first started commenting on here but I gotta say that song easily makes my "Top 100 Greatest Metal Songs of All Time" list!

Its pretty cool, pretty interesting. Not a huge fan of the newer stuff, but Operation Mindcrime is still a fantastic album.

People are so blinded with hating Geoff Tate, that it's flown under the radar that this copycat singer stinks on ice.

Haha, Sparky, but this guy's pretty good. Tate's voice has lost it as I unfortunately had to witness personally when Queenshite played M3 a couple years back (the night of Juan Croucier's triumph return to headliner RATT's lineup after 19 years!).
