Radio Festivals Take Over: New 'Fort Rock' Festival Lineup Announced
AEG just announced another radio festival! The new Fort Rock festival goes down in April in Fort Myers, Florida. Here are the details:
The new Fort Rock music festival will take place Sunday, April 14 at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida, the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. Fort Rock is presented by 99X and marks Southwest Florida’s largest rock festival.
The initial lineup for Fort Rock includes: The Offspring, 3 Doors Down, Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Volbeat, In This Moment, Escape The Fate, Device (with David Draiman), Pop Evil, Otherwise, Mindset Evolution and many more. Bands will perform on the Main Stage and Jägermeister Second Stage.
Fort Rock is a new festival produced by Danny Wimmer Presents and AEG Live, part of the team that produces the massively successful Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and Welcome To Rockville festivals.
“AEG and I have found another market with a strong rock culture and influential rock station—99X--that is starving for a big rock festival,” says Danny Wimmer. “We couldn’t have asked for a better partner or location. We’ve been thinking long and hard about creating a festival in this area and now we’re ready to pull the trigger.”
Tickets for Fort Rock go on sale Saturday, February 23 at 6:00 AM EST and are available at www.FortRockFestival.com. General Admission tickets are $44.50, with a Party 4-Pack of GA tickets available for only $129.50. VIP tickets will be $89. Discounted hotel packages will also be available.
Two discount ticket presales will also take place in advance of the general ticket onsale. For details about the presale, tickets, VIP packages and hotel discounts, visit www.FortRockFestival.com.
Fort Rock is proud to be sponsored by 99X, Monster Energy, Jägermeister, and f.y.e.

I sense intense failure here. Watch & see if I'm not right afterwards.
And, if it happens, I'll be honest enough to say "I Was Wrong".
My gut feeling is that this is a bomb & while the Floridians may go to see anything, I'd go see ANYHING ELSE.
