Check Out Pop Evil's New Video for 'Trenches'

Pop Evil just released the video for "Trenches." I have to say, I really like the song a lot. The band has really come along sound-wise. "Trenches" is on the new album Onyx available May 14.

I'm seeing the band live again next weekend at Rock on the Range in Columbus.

I gotta say, I just dont get it. This shit is as bland and boring as it gets.

idk, i have the last 2 releases and i'm kinda with Kenny. I just don't see anything special about this song. Their last album had a few good songs, but the majority of it was just "average." I'll definitely ck out the album though.

Bland and boring ? meaning the tune or the band ?

My two cents... the band is a good rock band, who (in the the two times I've seen them) completely and utterly rock with complete energy. Once as a headliner and once as opener.

One would say every album gets better in their short history of being relevant, so it will be interesting to see on this new album exceeding their last ones. Personally a glam tune like Boss' Daughter from the previous one will be hard to top.

But with a name of an album like "Onyx" one would only assume that ass shaking daughters of yesteryear will pass along to the dark side of things as noted by the song titles in the above link. As of note "Deal with the Devil" earned my top clip of deciding how good a song is in 30 seconds or less.

Now to the song "Trenches". Good rock tune, nothing that makes it "epic" as the say. But enough to know that this band is good and you know what genre they are in, trying to keep hope alive in the music scene.
