Hmm...I think this was the "Hide Your Sheep Tour", not sure I know I saw them in 82, ah but alas my brain is foggy from back that far, seems they sold out about 3 or 4 in a row at Cobo. Anybody know who the opening act was I was thinking it was Triumph but man that was a long time ago and probably wrong, anyway good to see rare stuff like this getting out, thanks!!

If I had a DeLorean with a flux capacitor, this is exactly the type of show I would re-live. Love it.

I saw this tour in Landover, Maryland at The Capital Center. I lived half way between Washington DC and Baltimore then and do not even remember Van Halen playing in Baltimore on that tour.

I'm with ya Rita. Not only were rock shows awesome back then, but ticket prices were also very affordable. I saw Van Halen in 1984 with Autograph opening up. My ticket was less than $15.

10 rows back at the old Spectrum in Philly.God those were awesome times! Got 4 rows back 2 years later on the 1984 tour, where they filmed the Panama video. These guys used to absolutely destroy live back then....And Darktown,I'm thinking Autograph as the opener, but that may have been on the 1984 tour? Like you said, my mind was kind of fried back then! Lol
