Black Stone Cherry Stream New Song

Black Stone Cherry just started streaming their new single "Me and Mary Jane" online. The song is off the forthcoming album Magic Mountain. The track smokes (pun intended).

Once again, Black Stone Cherry prove they are one of the most consistent modern rock acts going today.

This is one of the modern radio bands I like. I guess Papa Roach is a little bit older, but you'd like them if you like these guys. I would recommend checking out Middle Class Rut, and the new Pop Evil song. Deal With The Devil.

That's just straight up great music! Yes, it has a slightly modern sound, but at its core, it's classic hard rock. for all my fellow drummers in the house, listen to the last chorus and you'll hear the drummer slip in that classic lick from "good times Bad times." I honestly can't wait to get home from work, and blast this song at top volume.

Not only is the song excellent, but how cool is this video? It's proof you can make a great video for 5 bucks. All you need is a sharp idea.

How clever to do a music video about weed by animating old rolling paper graphics. What's more, I could totally imagine running a loop of it over and over again on a video wall in a nightclub to the beat, not just exclusively to this song.

Honestly, I'm not sold 100% on this song. They played another new one in their two shows in the UK called Fiesta Del Fuego, it kills. Me and Mary Jane is like this albums version of Blame it on the Boom Boom, just generic and bleh. And, I like BSC, but I can't stand Papa Roach so there goes your theory Dj ;-) Nor do I like the other bands mentioned, I just must be odd lol

I like the band a lot and actually, grew up about 15 mins from where they did, but having said that this song isn't as catchy as most of their stuff. Hopefully theres better stuff on the cd, though!
