Bret Michaels, Available For 3 FlexPay

Just wow.

Bret Michaels was recently on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) selling his new cologne, Roses and Thorns. He threw in a solo CD for good measure. I swear, the entire segment just makes me laugh and cringe and laugh a little more. And seriously, what a steal with three FlexPays at just $16.63! I can only imagine this originally aired at like 3 a.m. or something.

I just watched a Bret Michaels infomercial type thing, and with that being said, I can safely say that I could have gone my whole life without seeing that and I would have been fine. Unless he does something rockin with Poison, or does a killer solo album, like Sebastian Bach, I can no longer support him, Kiss is more real than this. This is just ridiculous. I know I am kind of going on a rant, but we need real rock n roll back, the fun, anger, excitement, and occasional ballad. No Hello Kitty, no Cherry Dr Pepper, no Petsmart, and no Cologne named after a killer song whose name he brands the hell out of.

Yay !!! A free cd of shitty cover tunes and re-recorded hits.

Just not enough to tour the casinos and state fair for Brett I guess.

Honestly bring back Rock of Love show, that would interest me more in anything that he does.

Roses n Thorns - seriously who in their right mind would buy this ? I suppose the same ones that have to choose between Old English, Adidas cologne, and Tim McGraw's scent at your local Wal-Mart.

I'm far from a Poison fan.. But I'm not sure why it matters so much to people as to what Bret does.. or any other artist for that matter. He has found a way to gain from the use of his name and the hard work (and luck) that made Poison a household name.

Rock-It, Probably because these sh*tty things do nothing to further his career, & only serve to crumble any cache' of credibility Brett might still have. He's shilling some of the dumbest & lousiest products... doing things even a self-confessed product whore like Gene $immons would pass on.

It makes him look like a joke.

Ace.. maybe this is his career at this point. Not sure anyone sees a new Poison release happening. And I would guess that he will never release a solo album that many long time fans care about. Seems like an easy way to make money for him. As far a credibility.. I never saw that Poison had that much in terms of the music they released.

I'm a big, long-time Poison fan and I have to admit that I find myself agreeing with Rock-It. I don't think Brett's current activities (as cheesy as I find them) do anything to hurt Poison's credibility. In fact, anything that keeps his face in front of people is likely better for the band. And good on him for using his image to keep some money rolling in.

For the love of God, Bret, GO AWAY!

Brett Michaels is a sellout. Ace and GNR nailed it. Michaels' stuff is absolutely the cheapest, crummiest stuff available. AND on the White Trash Channel, HSN, of course. I assume the initials stand for Home Stupid Network.

This clown is so LCD, as in Lowest Common Denominator, there is just no intelligence to his business decisions. Poor Poison. To have the other three guys being put through the tarnishing he has given the name POISON is a disgrace.

The fact that he's so oblivious to the reality of how he's damaging Poison's reputation is irrefutable proof of his total cluelessness.

Metalboy!.. Nobody is making the other 3 members of Poison sit home and do nothing. Who is to know that if Poison ever did release anything new that it be be any good...? Maybe there is a reason they don't release anything.. like the fact that they haven't written anything worthwhile in over 20 years. Why don't the other 3 members of Poison do something on their own instead of ride on Bret's coattails..?

Strangely enough, I may be the only person I know that enjoyed CC's Samantha 7 release.

Rock-It! Love you, Brother, but what the h*ll?! They aren't riding Bret Michaels' coatails! They are a band with the classic line-up when all four are together.

It is Michaels who is trading on the name Poison and doing it in a way that cheapens "Brand Poison".

Sixx wrote all the sh*t for Crüe back in the day. Purnell wrote all the sh*t for KIX (with the help of John Palumbo of Crack The Sky or Nick Gilder occasionally).

Michaels should do th write thing as the leader of Poison for the art of it and not just commerce. Get outside writers to help him write the sh*t and put it out there and tour off it!

You never know, it might sell. Lord knows, it would have a very good shot at being a higher quality album than the crap he puts out now.

There's a reason it costs more to book Poison than Michaels solo. And I think you witnessed it at M3 when a solo Michaels "headlined" compared to Outlaw Jam, when Poison opened for Crüe.

Metalboy!.. Just saying, why don't the other 3 members release something either together or by them selves if they have anything worthwhile..? Without Bret the three of them would flop. I'm by no means a Poison or Michaels fan.. I still believe he has earned the right to do whatever he wants musically or personally.

Like I said earlier.. CC released Samantha 7.. that did real well.. huh?

I loved Samantha 7. I agree on how Bret gives Poison a bad name. Everybody laughs at the absolute S*** he promotes, and that makes every teenager and every poser all of the sudden love "Talk Dirty To Me" that's what I hate, when posers think they are all of the sudden rock, and pick up on one Journey song, and think they are "Hardcore" thats why I hate what Bret's doing.

Here's the way I look at it, Rock-It...

Without Poison, Michaels is a flop!

Just cuz he makes money, doesn't mean he is successful as a true artist.
