Aerosmith Tour Setlist

The Aerosmith summer tour just kicked off. I'm seeing the show in Cincinnati in a couple weeks. I was eagerly anticipating the setlist - and here it is. I'd drop "Freedom Fighter" and replace it with "Nobody's Fault." I'd also drop "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" and replace it with "Seasons of Wither."

Honestly, if "Nobody's Fault" somehow makes it into the Cincinnati set, I'd probably pass out. What do you think?

1. Back In The Saddle
2. Eat The Rich
3. Love In An Elevator
4. Cryin'
5. Livin' On The Edge
6. Kings And Queens
7. Toys In The Attic
8. Rag Doll
9. Freedom Fighter
10. Same Old Song And Dance
11. Rats In The Cellar
12. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
13. No More No More
14. Chip Away The Stone
15. Dude (Looks Like A Lady)
16. Walk This Way
17. Dream On
18. Sweet Emotion

In my opinion, that's a pretty good set list, all things considered. They're not gonna lose "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing". Just not going to happen.

Personally, I'd be happy with a set consisting entirely of songs pre Permanent Vacation. But that's just me. I would like to see a couple of songs off of the very underrated Done With Mirrors album.

But I'm old. So, "Get off my lawn!!!"

Livin on the edge is my favorite Aerosmith song so that's pretty cool. Decent setlist, but they're not coming here, so therefore I'm not going. Most likely gonna see Steel Panther, that'll be a kickass show!

They should get rid of I Don't Want To Miss a Thing. It's true they never will, it's a shame Aerosmith even recorded that turd.

"No More No More" the highlight of the setlist!

"Baby I'm a dreamer, found my horse n carriage". I found mine and am lovin every minute of it. Aerosmith song that means the most to me!

Peace

As long as "No More No More" was played, this guy would be happy.Once again,I'm with The Cheap Seats.Id be elated if they just played shit off of the "big 3". Those being (IMO) Get Your Wings, Rocks, and Toys. Not a single bad song on 3 straight albums....

Huh-uh-lo-oh, Gary! Try "The Big Four"! Let us not forget the monumental First Album!

Personally, however, if they just played the entire "ROCKS" album, and I would be set!

If these lifers are comin' my way, I'm there!

Happy to see that "Crazy" and "Amazing" were left off, but my dream set list would include: “Seasons Of Wither,” “Lord Of The Thighs,” “Draw the Line,” & “Nobody's Fault.”

Interestingly, Sean, in 2007, when I last saw these guys, which was, coincidentally, at Jones Beach, they played EVERY song you mentioned.

In fact, it was one of the first shows after Tyler came back from vocal surgery and he was so killer on "Season's Of Wither", at the conclusion of the song, he actually winnied like a stallion in a moment of self-validation.

p.s. BTW, Motley Crue opened and you could just tell by the way Sixx was going through the motions, he probably thought no matter what they were gonna do on stage, their music and their act was and still is a distant second to Aerosmith, and betcha even Sixx himself would more than likely be the first to tell ya that.

p.s.s.t. As an aside, after Crue's set, Tommy came to the edge of the stage and offered us swigs from his bottle of Jager, of which I was the only one willing to partake. I'm sure he came to us because of the two hot blonde sisters I was with but I think they were just imagining where his mouth had been, so they passed. I, however, don't fear the reaper (to a point) and was willing to take a gamble.
