KISS To Do Las Vegas Residency

KISS will do a nine show residency at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this fall. The shows start November 5. The residency is dubbed "KISS Rocks Vegas" and tickets will start at $49.50 and go on sale this Friday.

The residency is being produced by AEG Live.  I wished I worked for AEG!

I saw KISS a little more than a week ago, & they were the best they'd been since 1996. (Def Leppard was giving 110% also)

I for sure will be at a couple of these residency shows... with what KISS is planning on bringing in, the capacity per show for this, will be 3,200 seats per show.

Ughhh I'm giving up on KISS. I like them and all but they're money whores before musicians. If they have no original members, what's the point?

KISS is my all time favorite band,, but they ran out of steam after the Reunion tour; and jumped the shark big time once Thayer joined.

It truly is a sanctioned tribute act at this point.

Gene and Paul can slam the original guys all they want, but their best performing days are also long behind them.

Don't waste your money kids... if you truly want to experience a KISS show, pick up KISSOLOGY DVDs for $30.

And, as KIXCHIX so cleverly points out, no other band is more meant for Vega$ than KI$$!!!

VegKI$$, indeed, my friend, and if I were you, you ought to mock-up 2 shirts with that as the logo/slogan on the front. Then, FEDEX one to yourself and one to $immons along with your proposal to create, print, market and distribute them under a licensing agreement.

Don't open the 1 you send to yourself when you receive it. Keep it vaulted away in case $immon$ rejects your concept but KI$$ decides to go ahead and do it anyway without you.

That said, I'm actually willing to bet (we ARE talking Vega$ here, after All, right?) $immon$ will go for your deal. Why? Because it's a great one and $immon$ has a lot of experience doing licensing deals over the years, some quite frankly, ultra STOOPID.

This should tell you he'll seriously consider every idea and if he sees yours, he's gonna see a REALLY good deal! Go for it and Good Luck to YOU, my Brother.

p.s. Make sure you save one for me after $immon$ gives you the go-ahead and you do the initial run! I would be proud to wear it.

Hey, man, what about "Hell Or Hallelujah"? I agree "Revenge" was their last truly great album, but I've heard these guys are still really great. If I had the bread, I'd be out there in a heartbeat!
