Johnny Depp Jams With Aerosmith
Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 12:01AM
It doesn't get much better than "Train Kept a Rollin'" live... so who could blame actor Johnny Depp for wanting to jam with Aerosmith live on stage? Depp joined my favorite band on stage in Mansfield, MA. Good times for sure. I'm seeing Aerosmith in just a few more days! I can't wait.

Sadly, Bobby Durango, the lead singer, passed away just a little over 2 years ago. I could have seen them in Ft. Lauderdale had I decided to skip SHIPROCKED which departed from Port of Ft. Lauderdale just 2 hours before they played.
Honestly, I seriously thought about missing Shiprocked to catch 'em.
It only makes sense to see Dep up there with Aerosmith jammin' out on "Train", since ROCK CITY ANGELS traded in the same brand of REAL Rock & Roll Aerosmith once did, pre "Permanent Vacation".
Note his "guitar solo" at the very end, hahaha!!!
p.s. Gary, I'll never forget seein' Perry play another black upside down Strat with white pick guard while donning head to toe black leather off the "ROCKS" album in May of '76 at JFK Stadium in D.C. when they headlined following the original line-up of Lynyrd Skynyrd who left 'em little to work with after Skynyrd incinerated the place. Perry still played his a*s off though Tyler was belligerent, spitting on the crowd, even throwing one of those large old school prograde GE electric fans into the audience, pole and everything. Just pulled it out of the socket and chucked it. On another sad note, a concert goer also fell from the upper tier during the show but the bands played on and no one stopped 'em. I remember seeing it happen but back then, the show must go on. On a lighter note, Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick also has an upside down black Strat with white pick guard. You can see him forever immortalized wearing it (and about 3 other guitars, hahaha!!!) on the inner sleeve of "Heaven Tonight", one of THE Greatest Rock & Roll Records of All Time! Doncha love how the P.S. is longer than the "Comment". Must be a side-effect of having to dial down my overtextingitis (surprise, surprise) to all the chicks of late, hahaha!!!
