Quiet Riot Sounding Good on Tour

The current incarnation of Quiet Riot is weaving around the country on tour. The video below was shot just a couple days ago. I'll admit, I'm impressed.

But they are still a tribute band pretending to be the real thing, putting true tribute bands out if work! (I jest)
Looking forward to seeing the documentary however.
Mr. Ripper, I saw OZZY with Zakk Wylde on guitar at The Paramount in 1991 with PRONG opening! Holy Sh*t, both bands were great with Wylde absolutely stealing the show by literally shredding the roof off the place!
And Snoot, I'm with ya. Pearl has long been one of my Top 10 Favorite 80's/90's Metal Singers! I consider myself SO lucky to have seen LOVE/HATE at M3 last year. And talk about the real deal... Remember when he crucified himself on the HOLLYWOOD sign?
Kixhix, I was in your camp 'til I saw this clip. Though I slept while QR played M3 (Sorry, Kev!), my ex-lead guitarist told me they absolutely killed it!
Their conviction, particularly Pearl's, may defy my reluctance to accept them as legit.
If you think about it, "Scab" doesn't really apply here because, Du Brow was the only original member in the line-up that went to #1 with "Metal Health" in 1983, the first "Metal" album to do so, in Rock & Roll History!
So what is this now, a scab of a scab band?
Though these boys are certainly gifted players with all the conviction in the world, it would be fun to see Banali get Cavazo and Sarzo back on board with Jizzy still in place.
He's got the pipes and those guys are the ingredient that would turn this into a kind of AC/DC affair where the only member of the "Classic" line-up, in both cases, would be the singer who would be replaced, should they reform.
The timing is right, if you ask me, as Cavazo is now free since RATT broke up. He was playing second fiddle when he deserves equal stage rights anyway. And Sarzo? What's he really up to? He could do it too, what the h*ll.
But it's probably Banali who would prevent it, unless he realizes they would make a lot more money with that "classic" configuration.

Still, why not get Cavazo and Sarzo back in if they're available?!
The guy definitely has plenty on his plate.
Sarzo is an absolute MONSTER, that's one thing for sure.
WOW, I would love to see Project Rock. Man, what a supergroup that is.
I wish he would leave Geoff Tate for Quiet Riot, however, obviously.
