'Downtown' - Video Of The Year
Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 12:01AM
My favorite video for the past month or so is easily "Downtown" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The song features Foxy Shazam vocalist Eric Nally as well and is poised to be the biggest track of the year. The first time I heard the song I hated it... until it went through my head so much I had to listen again and again... and then I was hooked. There's nothing metal here - just a funny video that is worth a few minutes of your time.

I like all kindsa sh*t! Goin' to see Mac Miller comin' up in a couple of weeks.
And, in your defense, you were careful to point out Eric Nally from Foxy Shazam is in it. H*ll, if they ain't Glam, I dunno who is! And the song AND video IS pretty damn catchy, I must admit.
If you kids want straight up Glam, I give you The Struts!

Besides, that phrase is so often misused as to be of little meaning now (not that a phrase borne of "Happy Days" is worthy of the OED). The issue with "jumping" isn't that you don't like a particular scene, or post in this case. No, the issue is that it done so as to keep viewers or readers coming back.
Allyson might be letting loose with a bit of her non-Glam interests here. Which is fine. Her site. And she does that occasionally. But there is nary a shark in sight.
That was awesome. thanks for sharing that vid. Put a smile on my Friday face. Now my 6th graders are in for a wild day!!!!!!
