Britny Fox Tour Dates Announced

I received this press release yesterday. We knew Britny Fox was going to tour this fall... and now some dates are out. So far only three shows have been announced, which isn't exactly a tour. Hopefully more shows will be announced soon.

HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 26, 2015) – Coming off a small run of successful West Coast dates, BRITNY FOX is hitting the East Coast for Farm Rock Atlanta, a two day festival of retro 80’s debauchery. BRTINY FOX then ends up in their home town of Philadelphia, PA with band Heavens Edge at the Theatre of the Living Arts.

BRITNY FOX is currently writing for a new album, which is a follow up to the BITE DOWN HARD album, which was released in 1991 – This musical jewel was a definite game changer on the classic BRITNY FOX sound that originally exploded in 1988. "It's awesome playing with Billy and Johnny again - Chris fits right in perfectly with us freaks,” exclaims Tommy Paris, lead singer. “The new songs are ass kicking, fun, heavy rock!  It's a great time hanging out with Doobie, writing new tunes and putting a new show together!  Can't wait to get back out on stage!"

SHOW DATES & INFO:

SAT      11/07 – NORCROSS, GA         NORTH ATLANTA TRADE CENTER
FRI       11/13 – QUEENS, NY              BLACKTHORN 51
SAT      11/14 – PHILADELPHIA, PA     THEATRE OF THE LIVING ARTS

BRITNY FOX comprises of Tommy Paris: Vocals/rhythm Guitar, Chris Sanders: Lead Guitar, Billy Childs: Bass and Johnny Dee: Drums. The band has sold close to 2 million in sales world-wide and charted on Billboards Top 10 for both Girl School and Long Way To Love.

I like your top 5 and am guessing G n R are in a class by themselves :)

What about a follow up to Springhead Motorshark? I know it sucked but it was one of two disc after Bite.

I saw Britney Fox a few weeks ago @ Vamp'd in Las Vegas.
The coolest part of the night was when they had Frank DiMino from the 70's glam/pomp band ANGEL get up & sing a classic Angel tune with them.

Damn, Ace. Which Angel song did they play? That is HUGE!

Haha!!, Shawn... You are correct... GNR ARE in a class by themselves. And that class is beneath the Top 5 listed above.

Badland, "Bite Down Hard" kicks a*s! Check out Tommy Paris' band previous to Britny Fox, called Jillson.

Never said Bite didnt kick it. Article states doing the follow up to Bite and they put out 2 disc after Bite so not a follow up just poor fact checking or lack of knowledge for one of the best bands ever ( with Dizzy of course ).

The article says the new album is a follow up to the BITE DOWN HARD album, meaning it is in the same style as that album - not that BTH was the last album..

LOVE this band BUT with Tommy Paris singing only! Bite Down Hard and the Live cd are in constant rotation. (Springhead Motershark,,what the F was that crap) Happy they are back,,but guys PLEASE make a tour more than 3 dates,,and please come to New England. Shockingly and surprising I have never seen this band and need to!

No way, Jeff... With Dizzy Dean, they were great and with Tommy Paris, they still are!

Badland, what the h*ll?... Essentially, all I'm saying with my comments to you is "Thanks for reminding me about 'Bite Down Hard'!"...

And, I'm tellin' you, guys, that Jillson album flat out ROCKS! And can Tommy ever belt it out as one of THE Greatest Hard Rock Singers Ever!

Check it out!

Metalboy... I left you a link to my video up there... They did "Waited A Long Time To Find You" off of Angel's "Sinful" LP.

Doi! Obviously, I can't read, Ace! Thanks from all of us for the link to your vid!

Thanks MB, I will give it another shot!

Cool, Jeff... Yeah, opener "Six Guns Loaded", with hired gunslinger Zakk Wylde guesting, sets the stage and it doesn't let up from then to the end. Also, check out Jillson's "Deadly Girl" album, with Tommy Paris fronting (then Tommy Jillson).

You'll hear why that album was one of THE highest trading CD's, hovering around $500 before it was reissued a couple years back. You can listen to the full album on YouTube. Prepare to have your Walmart Kiss Korner Athletic Socks blown off when you hear it!

Metalboy! man I always .ALWAYS pretty much agree with everything you write..I bought the Jillson cd and after giving it a few listens, I gave it away. I never heard one hook, good riff and anything to make it standout,,nothing. There wasn't one song memorable. Sorry my 2 cents (and trust me, I wanted to LOVE IT, Tommy Paris has one of the best voices unknown in the rock world)

Spyke! Dude! You're crazy... That guitar burns! Remember, it's an indy and not that well produced, but the songs are way cool and all take a very different spproach. And Paris (aka Jillson) and the guitar just tear it up!

Oh man, Britny fox and Heavens Edge playing together at the TLA. It's 1989 all over again! I don't miss living in Jersey, but right now, I wish I did so I could see that gig.

Bob; I'm going to the show with my older son, nick and his bff, in tow. A little more corruption heading their way.
