Dokken Announce One US Reunion Show

The classic lineup of Dokken will reunite during October for six shows in Japan. The reunion will feature Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown. Now, there's news that Dokken will play one U.S. show before heading to Japan. That one date will be September 30 in South Dakota at Ron Keel‘s Badlands, Pawn, Gold & Jewellery in Sioux Falls.

Tickets are $50. Now, it's not an option for me to go to this show - but maybe one of you can make it? I think it would be killer for sure!

Awesome!

Bummer: it's one show. In US

WTF kinda venue they playing at????

Using a photo from 1986 to promote the gig? Weak. Very weak

Still wanna see a show though, so fingers crossed for more dates. Hopefully saying its ONE show only is to measure demand & interest. Management probably doesn't know what kind of halls they can play. I think they can easily draw 5k people a night.

Kixchix - You said it.

I would love to see them and I too hope they do more dates, after they get an ok (hopefully) response from these initial shows.

About that photo - really? Maybe Don is hoping to drop some weight before the shows and doesn't want a current photo making the rounds? idk but that pic has got to go.

If I lived in South Dakota and tickets were 30$ I'd go, 50$ seems a bit much without support. Glad they're doing this though.

I'm betting that if all goes well I'll be seeing them at next years Sweden Rock. Would be cool. Saw Dokken there last year and contrary to what people say I think they sounded good, Don had improved.

Two things weird here... First is what the h*ll is Ron Keel doing with a Pawn Shop and second is of all the places for Dokken to play, why the h*ll is it there?

That is, unless it's intentionally off the radar because they don't want anybody to see George grimace when Don Dokken starts whispering, I mean, singing.
