If you think Adam Lambert is just a "putz" from 'American Idol' I suggest you have your ears checked. Queen gave him the keys to their kingdom for a reason. You sound close-minded here. Freddie isn't ever coming back. I'm grateful we still an option of seeing Queen live.
Eddie,
Yes, I could do the NY/NJ show. I have a very good friend in Manhattan and he would like me to visit.
Whatever I personally may think of Adam Lambert, what has this guy ever done to be called a "Putz"? The man has been nothing but a consumate professional who can sing his a*s off and worships Freddie Mercury.
Brian May & Co. would not just pick anybody to fill Mercury's shoes. Even, still, if you've never seen Queen, here's your chance to catch the magic of Brian May's guitar playing AND hearing Lambert nothing short of nailing it!
Obviously, Freddie is no more, but they found a suitable queen to fill in for him. Adam is the perfect prancy frontperson to fill Freddie;s ballet slippers.
What Ace says is true, May's playing is truly majestic. Don't get hung up on Lambert to deny yourself seeing May. Plus, in the end, you'll wind up appreciating Lambert's mastery of the material, as well. One only has to go to YouTube to witness the proof.
