New Year, New Quiet Riot Singer
Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:03AM
Quiet Riot has a new singer and his name is Seann Nicols (formerly of Adler's Appetite). The band played their first gig together on January 26. Nicols did a fine job but it does make you wonder how long he will last. Quiet Riot has had a hard row to hoe. It probably would have been better for the band to start fresh with a different name after Kevin DuBrow's death, but I suppose that would have made booking gigs harder. Everyone has to eat.

Quiet Riot has one remaining classic line-up member as opposed to Queen with three original members plus a very successful singer in his own right, WAY more technically skilled than this new dude for Quiet Riot, especially when you consider how much more demanding the Queen material is vocally than Quiet Riot's.
And, again, the real reason to see Queen, one mister Brian May on lead guitar!
A little advice, BK... when trolling, at least make an argument you can win.
vazo.
As for Quiet Riot, bassist Chuck Wright is being slighted here. Chuck has been around & involved since the days of the "DuBrow" band, years before Metal Health was released. In fact,You'll hear Chuck's bass playing on about half of the Metal Health record. Rudy's photo may be on the album cover, but he only played on 4 songs on the record. The rest was Chuck Wright & Carlos Cavazo's brother & "Snow" bandmate, Tony Cavazo.
I was fortunate enough to see Queen WITH Roger Deacon -- along with all the original line-up, as I mentioned, previously.
I also had the pleasure of seeing Quiet Riot POINT BLANK with both Sarzo at Hammerjack's in Baltimore AND with Chuck Wright at Network in Pasadena, MD.
p.s. BK -- I skied in NASTAR, not Professionally. And you should still go see Queen for the reason Ace, myself and others have stated -- Brian May!
Who is Roger Deacon?
In case everybody noticed, I'm no good with names!
