Whitesnake Releases Video For 'Burn'

Whitesnake will release The Purple Tour (Live) on January 19. They've included the song and video for "Burn" on that package. Now you can watch the video below. Love it! Let me know what you think of the track. I took a vacation day so I'm off to enjoy my time.

I think it's great that Whitesnake is releasing a live CD of that tour! All the Purple tunes are the stuff I grew up on in the 70's & DC & company did an amazing job of updating them. This video is also awesome... Nice job interspersing live footage w/ staged footage & bring the witch in the lyrics to life. I'll be a first day buyer!

And also quite hilarious with it’s superbly shot and cleverly executed kitzched out comic book special effects.

Killer ‘87 (and then some) Triple Layer Crunchin’ Dragged Out Fat Guitar (that 2nd rhythm punch in is hot like the intro to Page’s solo on in the evening. AND they’ve done a nice job on Coverdale’s voice, as well.

In this day and age of hastily and cheaply thrown together promo clips and lyric videos, it’s refreshing to see a band go the extra mile, especially the FX antics of the lovely Miss Tiffanni Atkinson! (I wonder how she’d handle the flambé on the Bananas Foster at 21.)

With Coverdale as executive producer should we expect anything less?
