Another Festival: Las Rageous

Las Rageous is coming to Las Vegas on April 21 and 22. Headliners include Godsmack and Avenged Sevenfold. Looks like fun if you'll be in Vegas during this time. This will take place outside in the downtown Vegas area. Tickets on sale February 3 via Live Nation.

Oh Yippee... A festival of boring "complaint rock"...

At least that weekend won't be a total loss.
I'll be at KISS @ Laughlin Event Center, 75 miles away

Great Assessment Ace! and good choice on an alternative. Really happy to hear Actress is out performing. I saw your interview regarding the master tapes to Tribute what a great story. It is really awesome that for someone who worshiped Randy from afar gets insight from you who was very close to Randy and the family. I applaud your efforts to help sustain Randy's legacy.

One of those bills where I would want to see a couple bands from each day, and not too interested in the rest of the lineup. Would be awesome to see Avenged, Coheed, Mastodon, Anthrax and KSE play together.

@Ace - big surprise you have nothing nice to say here, it's a festival made up of bands that have put our new music in the last 30 years.. have fun watching Gene and Paul's tired old KISS tribute.

Saturday with AX7 and Breaking Ben would be the day I'd go were I out there. Synyster from AX7 is a smoking good guitarist, and I like a lot of their stuff. Breaking Ben got their start about 40 miles up the interstate from me in Wilkes Barre PA,and also can kick some ass.

Shawn, Thank You! It's my honor to protect Randy's legacy, and help keep his spirit alive. I realize the "charmed life" position I've had, growing up and having the most incredible guitar legend as a friend and instructor, as well as his "Modern Day Mozart" mother, Delores teaching my child piano for 11 years. And I also took drum lessons from his brother, Kelle. It's an absolute blessing to have been adopted into that particular family unit. Absolutely wonderful people.Sister Kathy & her husband, Richard DarJenzio deserve mention as well. when Actress traveled to Burbank to perform at Randy's 60th Birthday Celebration, they totally treated us like Rock Stars. A Class Act, in every way.

Kudos to you, Ace. And keep us posted on Actress.

Not really my cup of tea (the festival). I suspect there will be a lot of short in length/long in rage sorts mulling about, doing their best Erma impressions (wife-beaters and tribal tats). But, hey, Mastodon is a cool newer take on the old formula. I enjoy their stuff.

fletch, as far as I know right in Wilkes Barre? I'm pretty sure that's where Benjamin Burnley, their singer and guitarist is from. But lord knows I could be wrong 😂
