'It's Proudly The 80s'

The trailer for the mini documentary Hysteria at 30 is here. Def Leppard is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Hysteria with many different reissue packages. The mini documentary is also part of this celebration. I decided that I would go ahead and get the big package when released on August 4. I want all the b-sides and extended versions of the standard Hysteria tracks. What I most want is the audio of "In The Round, In Your Face."

In the short trailer below, Joe Elliott talks about embracing the era and his band's unique sound. I love that. Def Leppard really did rule the 80s - and Hysteria is the reason why.

For me, this is easily their best release. One of my top 5 favorites all time, actually. May hafta get this!

For me, it was all downhill at a rapid pace after Pyromania.

Yeah, most ppl probably disagree with me. However the main reason imo is because this was their first real breakout cd, aka selling out and all that crap. There is no filler on this cd, compared to every other cd that they released. No one likes when "their band" hits the big time, and starts to become "the world's band", instead. So I get that.

I agree with JAT. "Pyromania" is far superior. That said, I'll pick this up anyway.
