'Girls, Girls, Girls' - 30th Anniversary Trailer

On August 25, Motley Crue will release the 30th anniversary edition of Girls, Girls, Girls. There's a couple snippets from interviews of Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee below. This tells me the band is doing a mini-documentary just like Def Leppard. Notice that Nikki and Tommy were not in the same location. Def Leppard were all shot in the same studio space. Will you buy this?

Nope. I figure I've donated enough over the years to help Sixx pay for all those kids of his. Lol

1987 was such a great year in my life. The Hysteria and Motley reissues are making me yearn. That summer 30 years ago was crazy fun and our music was front and center. I don't need to line anyone's pockets. I gave thirty years ago.

I just want the DVD, everything else is ostensibly just a rehash of previously released stuff.
I hope this stuff can be bought separately (I doubt it though).
I do find it curious that they didn't show a new clip of either Mick or Vince talking.
I would want all four band members to participate in the documentary even if they aren't in the same room.

You can watch and listen to a great band . . . and then watch the older versions of that band talk about how cool they were back in the day. Like Def, not sure what this is meant to do for the fans. I certainly know what it is meant to do for the band.

And, esp. with Crue (as others note), the cash grab has been strong. They approach KISS in the ways that they have found to turn "we own our music" into "you should buy it again and again." They make Metalllica look positively conservative (and refreshingly so) in how they handle their back-catalog.

According to the description on Amazon...
The Documentary will only have new interviews with Nikki, Tommy & Doc Mcghee.

...Well at least James Michaels will have nothing to do w/this (hopefully)...

Great album ... Why didn't they put out a live "Mirror" version of the album, releasing previously unreleased live recordings of each song from that tour in the same running order as the original studio tracks?

Instead, it's just the cash grab package everyone is describing here.
