Stephen Pearcy Readies New Solo Music

Stephen Pearcy has a new solo track called "U Only Live Twice." The way things have been for him lately, maybe that's true. Hopefully Pearcy is on an upswing for the better.

Not sure why he is hitting certain words so darn hard on this one. Sometimes it seems to be because he has rhymed words (Pearcy is a wordsmith). Other times, not so much.

I could see this--and I am picking up on the Bond vibe of the cover/title--as the perfect title track for the next Johnny English movie.

Seriously, though, like the last single, this feels like it could have been a Ratt song with some retooling. Sigh.

[And, no, I am not breaking my rule by commenting here or about the Crue . . . just sticking to the music.]

@HIM yes I hear you this could very easily be an awesome RATT song but still not bad.. The guitars sound a little muddy in the mix but it still rocks.

This kicks ass.

@Him. You're spot on in that Pearcy is our generations Bob Dylan when it comes to lyrics....😂😂😂😂

Gary, I am glad you noticed my mild sarcasm. Sometimes I think I am too subtle!

I listened to the two new songs yesterday, and they do have a Ratt kind of vibe to them. I'm thinking this will be ten times better than his last solo album but that's still not saying much. Probably something you listen to twice and then forget about it, what a shame.
Although the songs have a Ratt kind of vibe they definately are missing something. Infestation was a killer album and I still pull it out time to time, wish the band Ratt could get back to that kind of level but I dont see that happening anytime soon.
