Saxon, 'Nosferatu (The Vampire's Waltz)' -- New Video

It's time for some new Saxon! The band just dropped their video for "Nosferatu (The Vampire's Waltz)" which I think is maybe the best metal song title of all time. The track is from the band's newest album called Thunderbolt. Hang on, it's almost Friday!

F. W. Murnau filmed Saxon?!?! I kid. But the inter-splicing of the classic film with the footage of Saxon had me giggling.

Sounds like Saxon to me. And that ain't a bad thing. One thing though: the background singing sounds a lot more pronounced these days. Which is fine. But perhaps that is to offset any losses to Byford's vocals (he's 67 after all; see previous comments re: JP).

With ya all the way here, HIM!

I found the clip quite hilarious also, remembering they were the inspiratoon for Spinal Tap.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they weren’t intending this to be funny, yet I always wonder if the whole blimey thing has been one big pi*stake, since the beginning!
