Amazing New L.A. Guns Live Clip Released

Check out L.A. Guns playing "Speed" below. The clip is from the DVD Made in Milan. I still need to grab this DVD (or borrow it from someone). It looks so amazing.

SO sorry to see Michael Grant go! This may have been the best LA Guns lineup ever.

Weak song imho but they've always been a solid live band.

That would be his “inner Dee Dee”, Jimbo/Spyke, haha!!

You actually bring to our attention something of a curiosity about the look and style of this band, which is to say, it doesn’t have one, which is actually kind of cool.

You’ve got Tracii Guns channeling Led Zeppelin IV era, pre-Nudie style poppy patterned bell bottomed jumper and shag donning Jimmy Page with his beard and shorter hair ...

Then there’s Phil Lewis with his quasi 70’s era Rolling Stones look replete with shoe polish black suspicious looking “hair” ...

And then top it all off with Johnny’s Dee Dee Ramone styled approach you so adroitly have observed.

While Michael Grant’s S&M/SS Officer’s hat era Jimmy Page aping and the unabashed Guitar pyrotechnics will be missed, Tracii is fully capable of doing all of his own heavy lifting (just like Page), not just because of his overall genius and natural ability but also due to the fact he co-wrote the songs to begin with.

Which is what it all comes down to when it comes to this band ... so, however I want to get hung up on clothes and hair, there’s o r simple thing that can’t be denied ... L.A. Guns is back AND killing it!!!

p.s. Though I appreciate Grant’s extraordinary ability to shred, he really should lose the “Purple Rain” Prince tribute. He doesn't need it and neither does the audience! After all, it’s more than obvious L.A. Guns didn’t need it either. Talk about sucking all the air out of the room and convoluting the brand! Don’t let your guitar case lid hit ya on the way out!

Sounds like there is yet more drama in the LAG camp. Trust all of you have read Grant's account of how he left the band. Tsk, tsk, Lewis. Have you learned nothing?
