Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators Working On New Album

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators will release a new album soon. I'm pretty excited about this and will be picking it up when released. The still-unnamed album will come out in the fall. Also, I wish this group had a different name. Seems like a pile of unnecessary words!

I certainly understand that people like this band. But I do want some help understanding why. I mean that seriously. What is the draw? I have really tried to get into them. I just can't. Perhaps it is just me. So please, BBG! readers, help me out with this one. What's the deal with SFMK&TC (and I agree Allyson . . . that is a tangle of words when only the S seems to count for anything in terms of their popularity; well, maybe the MK for a select few)?

I liked Velvet Revolver a lot more and never quite understood why people are fanatic about this band.
That being said, im glad Slash is still releasing new music and being creative because it does look like there's an audience for it.
I actually heard an interview with Myles Kennedy recently kinda making fun of the tour/festival flyers that have the entire bands name on it, taking up a lot of space, hahaha.

I can’t figure out why SLASH feels like he needs to be surrounded by extra names for his solo projects. Yer frickin’ SLASH for crissakes. You don’t need a Snakepit or to include the name of the mediocre, generic singer you unwisely chose in the wake of Velvet Revolver.

Now that Michael Grant has been unceremoniously fired from L.A. Guns maybe SLASH should just merge with Grant & Co. to form “SLASH with Mild Kennedy and The Conspiritors
and Michael Grant and The Assassins”!!!
