Gene Simmons and Peter Criss Reunite (Sorta)

Peter Criss and Gene Simmons reunited in New York City this weekend. The appearance was in support of Gene's Vault Experience.

Gene apparently invited Peter to the event. It is good to see the two together... and Gene looks honestly happy to be within earshot of Peter again. It's good when old friends make up. At least, I think that's what has happened here...

Would it be cynical of me to point out he also reunited with Ace also "in support" of his vault experience,(where folks pay 2 grand a head to attend)? Yes,I suppose it would. Lol. Funny how he's all for this when it'll benefit him financially. Me thinks Gene would reunite with Satan if it'd pull in an extra few bucks...

You are spot on, Gary.

The thing I find hilarious is that you can pay the exact same price to have his vault of wonders sent to you. I suspect there would be people who would prefer to digest these private nuggets without Gene being there! Then again, he supposes that there are people willing to shell out 50K (no payment and no interest for six months; up to 25 friends can attend) to have him sit in their living room. So who knows?

And when you start to unlock all of these incredible goodies, turns out a whole heck of a lot of them are demos, several with slight variations, which slightly weakens the promo claim to be "150 never-released-before songs written and performed by Simmons, and featuring notable rock and roll artists including members of KISS past and present." Or, in another place, he states that this represents "a soundtrack to my life, filled with songs I’ve written, but have never been released. Until now." Then again, saying "never before released in this/these versions" would weaken the anticipation, right? And, to be honest, the list of "notable" guests that aren't former/current members of KISS is quite thin. But there is Dylan. So perhaps that is enough of a hook.

I guess there is a sucker . . . I mean, diehard Kiss Army Member . . . born every minute. I kid. Who wouldn't want a giant coin, a coffee table book, demos, and a mini-Gene action figure?
