Sebastian Bach Announces Tour
Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 07:30AM
Sebastian Bach just announced his "Home Away From Home" Tour 2018! The Standstills will provide support as Bach weaves his way across America and Canada. There aren't a whole lot of American dates here, but some in the midwest and California. Maybe Bach will add more in the next few weeks. Who is going?

Never heard of The Standstills before ... checked out a couple of videos on the YouTubes, and to quote Butt-head, "What the hell is this crap?"
His solo records are all pretty good as well... much better than anything SR has done without him.
You know my point: what constitutes a scab band? Was Sab one for replacing Fallon at the urging of Bolan and Hill? Of course not. Not really trying to pick a fight (we have been getting along well as of late!). I scratch my head at SR's decisions post-Bach. But that is me. They seem perfectly content to barely fill biker bars and wedding-tent-sized venues. If that is what they want, more power to 'em. Besides, the rift between the band and Bach seems to be heavily tilted towards one member and one former member not figuring out how to place nice.
And I won't bring up how diminished Bach's pipes are these days, nor the fact that he indulges in that "this is the best I have sounded/my voice has matured/my range is beyond reproach" nonsense that none of us, including me, would tolerate out of other idols (can you say Dokken)?
So I say: yeah! "Age Gone Mellow" is hitting the road and Skid Row is playing just a block or two therefrom. It is a feast of riches.
He’s still got strong pipes. I dare say, if we didn’t know he was one of the high pitched hyenas of the 80’s and only knew him for his present voice, we’d think he’s a helluva singer, unlike Dokken, also a card carrying member of The Hair Metal Hyenas, yet who’s voice is COMPLETELY shot.
