I may have to go to this one!
I kid. But that is a mighty fine line-up so far as I am concerned. Lots of bang for the buck.
Fun story: I saw Nikki Blakk engaged in a tongue fight with a certain bass player at a show not too long ago (relatively speaking) at the now-defunct Avalon, in Santa Clara. She was clearly going deep to get the story for The Bone (the radio station, of course).
If they think that’s who they can solely lean on as THE headliner is laughable. My guess, is TeslUGH!’s management demanded they be above all others in the layout to agree to joining the Cruise because of their petrified (as in “long existing”) chip on their shoulder since they can’t justify that position simply on the merits of their music alone.
Since it’s early on, my guess is the promoters will add some other killers to fill in the blanks along side them and/or rightfully elevate KIX and possibly some of the others to the top.
However, MY true headliners for this always goofy high seas misadventure and reasons for going are as follows:
SAXON, UDO (Holy sh*t!!!), WILDHEARTS (for REAL!!!), ROSE TATTOO (UNREAL!), ECLIPSE (at last, another “newer” Swedish Band!!!), VAIN, DANGER DANGER, TORA TORA,
D.A.D., and the one, the only, Pat Travers!!! AND usual suspects KIX and Quireboys, of course!!!
PLUS, if you go, you’ll get to see me f*ck with Eddie Trump (haha!!) for saying on his radio show and featured on Metal Sludge, that “Rockstars” don’t really want to meet you. He may actually be talking about himself as they wouldn’t give that misinformed lard a*s the time of day if someone had the sense to take his mic away the way VH1 did.
You see, I think they actually DO want to meet you, folks, as I’ve had many buy me drinks on this thing, even receiving an unwelcome big wet kiss on the cheek from Corabi (okay, so he was drunk and euphoric from having just successfully lead the Cinderella & Friends adhoc show that turned out to be one of the highlights of the cruise several years ago) and a giant hug from Tom Keifer (get the band back, Tom!).
The right way to meet “Rockstars” is to treat them respectfully, as in DO NOT ask for a photo or autograph but relate to them on a human level.
AND you would get to see me f*ck with Teschlubs in such exotic locations as the Cafeteria for being the self important jacka*ses they truly are, especially Hannon.
But the thing to really look forward to is the possibility Ginger, fearless leader of a TRULY GREAT Rock & Roll Band, WILDHEARTS, making Rock & Roll History by reuniting on stage with QUIREBOYS, as he was an original founder of the band!
p.s. C’mon, HIM. You and everyone else on here’s gotta go on this one! UDO alone should cinch it for you! And c’mon, man ... Spill the beans ... Who’s the bass player, the identity of whom you are keeping under wraps in the funny story you mention in your comments?
PS: To paraphrase the Go-Go's, my lips are sealed . . . even if hers weren't!
BTW, thanks for the tip for https://rockcandymag.com/. I just got my first copy and it's everything you wrote about...and then some. I'm part of a facebook glam metal group. The founder of this group often has 80's collectibles and memorabilia giveaways to keep the site interesting. I've donated a lot of mine to this cause as "you only go once around the ride". When I'm finished reading Rock Candy, this too, will be donated and hopefully placed into it's new loving, nurturing foster, or forever, home.
Corabi is going to steal the show
4:20 timed song on 4/20 - Enjoy live Tesla :)

p.s. Whoa!, Jeff ... I would like to see Bulletboys and Lies, Deceit & Treachery hug it out and get on stage together ... I know, I know, it’s never happen ... But, hey, ya never know!
