Yet another counter-example (and a positive one, considering hot messes like Ratt) of a band doing what they do and doing it well.

It ain’t no “Princess of the Night” but still quite amusing. And unintentionally hilarious, something I’ve come to expect from them ever since finding out they were the muse and primary inspiration for Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer when researching “Spinal Tap”.

I mean, seriously (actually, unseriously)? “The Secret of Flight”? This may be one of THE stupidest set of lyrics to ever come out of these guys. I seriously doubt they were able to keep their faces straight when composing this little ditty.

Then again, that coming from someone who told Biff AND Paul that “Destiny” is their best album, ever on The Monsters of Rock Cruise a couple years back only to have Biff point over his shoulder with his thumb at Paul Quinn, quipping “Blame him.”, to which Quinn shrugged.

Well, now you will be able to harass them as much as my ex-lead guitarist and I plan on doing on the upcoming cruise next year!

p.s. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE these guys!!!
