KISS Performs Club Show

Ok this is cool: KISS played an intimate show at the Whisky A Go-Go on Monday night. The event was for Sirius XM subscribers.

Here's the setlist. Can you imagine being in this room? Oh and I finally broke down and got medicine. I don't take many pills but sometimes you just need the help of antibiotics. Now if I could just breathe and sleep through the night!

I am passing on this leg of the KISS farewell tour. It's going to go on for a few years, and I'm assuming that they might add former members as guests to justify hitting markets a second time. If they don't, i'm fine with it. Shock Me, Beth and now Lip Syncing. They broke me. Having said that, the KISS channel on SIrius is the best.

PS: Don't be too stubborn not to take your meds! :)

Yep, the KISS channel on SiriusXm is pretty awesome. glad I got to see the original lineup in concert, even if it was in '79 when they were falling apart.

Badland, so cool that you were there for one of the '92 club tour shows. I have a flawless recording of the Philadelphia gig from '92. they really sounded great then.

Gotta say, Cold Gin sounded awesome. Of course Gene does solo on that song. I also saw them on the Revenge tour, and they were at the top of their game. Then later I saw them on the reunion tour. I plan on going to see them again in August, at Riverbend. 🤘🏼

YOU WANTED THE BEST BACKING TRACKS . . . No, actually, I don't. I kid.

I agree with Bob, Badland. That sounds like a mighty awesome show.

Sorta a cool gimmick for them to do on the last (and I mean, certifiably, no questions, last) tour of their career. Yes, Paul sounds like a goat bleating these days. And the jazz hands are a bit tired. And the God of Thunder has a portion of the rider that makes sure his side of the stage is load-bearing. Again, I kid. They are old. There are two originals and two relative newbs. But I bet this would have been a lot more fun than the big show they are doing.

I wonder if Tommy Lee was in the crowd? I could swear that is the same stage set-up the Crue used in the early days. I kid again. But I am done.
