Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams Team Up For Summer Tour

It's the battle of the 1980s when it comes to summer tours this year! Now Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams will team up for an arena tour. I have never seen Bon Jovi live. There are no dates near me (yet) and I will not travel for this one. I am hoping more dates are added, just like what happened with the Motley Crue/Def Leppard run. The dates are below.

June 10 - Tacoma, Wash. @ Tacoma Dome
June 11 - Portland, Ore. @ Moda Center
June 13 - Sacramento, Calif. @ Golden 1 Center
June 16 - San Jose, Calif. @ SAP Center at San Jose
June 18 - Los Angeles, Calif. @ The Forum
June 20 - Las Vegas, Nev. @ T-Mobile Arena *
June 23 - San Antonio, Texas @ AT&T Center
June 25 - Dallas, Texas @ American Airlines Center
June 26 - Tulsa, Okla. @ BOK Center
July 10 - Toronto, Ontario @ Scotiabank Arena *
July 14 - Newark, N.J. @ Prudential Center
July 16 - Boston, Mass. @ TD Garden
July 19 - Detroit, Mich. @ Little Caesars Arena
July 21 - Chicago, Ill. @ United Center
July 23 - St. Louis, Mo. @ Enterprise Center
July 25 - Washington, D.C. @ Capital One Arena
July 27 - New York, N.Y. @ Madison Square Garden
July 28 - New York, N.Y. @  Madison Square Garden
* without Bryan Adams.

Used to be a huge Bon Jovi fan ... probably my 2nd favorite in the 80's after Poison.

But this one is simple for me: No Richie, no Bon Jovi.

Plenty of other tours to hit this summer! Oh, and RAMMSTEIN announced they will hit the USA in 2020 and I'll have to save up for that because that's gonna be huge (and hot!).

I am probably an odd duck, but I actually prefer--listening back to it these days--Adams' output in the 80s to Jovi's. Not that I am a fan of either of them going forward, as they went the schmaltz route and that is a road I am not taking.

I hear you, steverox. And I wonder: do you think this is Sambora's doing primarily? It is obvious that he was/has/is struggling with something. Perhaps not to Jeff LaBar levels. But something. And I have to assume that others, like you, would really gravitate to a Bon Jovi concert if he was out there wailing away. Hell, even I would love to see him playing on "In and Out of Love"!

Yeah I think Riche’s version is he wanted to spend more time with his daughter vs. continuing the grueling touring schedule. JBJ has never discounted that, so it may be true. And of course now he’s with Orianthi so that’s probably a top priority.

If Bon Jovi toured with Richie I would strongly consider going. But they better play a lot of old stuff and not that Lost Highway crap!

I agree HIM Richie doesn't look too healthy following Orianthi around like a dog in heat LOL - don't blame him there but man he looks rough. I saw them open for RATT in 85 that was a great show they were still hungry.

Bring Sambora back and play nothing but the first 4 albums then I am in...

I actually visited the Orange #5 in Vancouver where Slippery When Wet got its name - well worth the visit.

Had me laughing with that No. 5 Orange aside, Shawn! I was amazed to see that the place is still going strong!

And, in sad-ish news, looks like Sambora and Orianthi broke up a year or so ago. That pairing never made sense to me. But to each their own. I should also add that I was inferring something else was amiss with him. It just seems like there has to be more to the story. And I was filling in the holes (being a gossip, I guess).
