Celebrating Good News
There has been a ton of sad news in recent years and months. Legends like Peart dying, others getting sick, or some simply quitting the stage. Thing is, it is only going to keep happening to the musicians we love. Cue the violins.
Sure, Megadeth are not glam (except for the album Cold Lake . . . oh wait, that was Celtic Frost). Sure, Dave had stuck his foot in his mouth countless times (which might or might not help with his singing . . . I kid, Dave has a ‘unique’ voice). And, sure, Megadeth opening for Foam Finger Dust Punch makes no sense in any rational world.I'm back. pic.twitter.com/UBCGTZTGtd

But, Dave is back after being diagnosed with throat cancer less than a year ago. Personally, I even like the Seamus McRattlehead look he is sporting. Dave and the Gorton’s Fisherman enter the cage . . . only one leaves!
You might not like Megadeth’s music, or Dave, or even Risk. All well and good. But I think this is news worth celebrating when it comes to music. Mustaine is ready to rock . . . and I’m buying!

Reminds me of a philosophical theme to a show from the good 'ol 80’s.
“Ya take the good, ya take the bad. Ya take em both and there ya have...The facts of Life. The facts of Life.
Simple
Dave is cool. Glad he’s recovered
Peace Sellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllls, but who's buying ?? Funny how that song fits all the time no matter what party is in charge.
Thanks HIM for the good news and Dave looks like the Grim Reaper now :)
Having a similar reaction as GNR, I nearly snotted out my midnight snack upon reading “Foam Finger Dust Punch” ...
As far as Mustaine goes, alright, so you don’t have the 100’s of millions Metallica has but you can always be proud of the fact your music is vastly superior to theirs.
Having survived your recent scare, maybe you’ll now have the perspective that Ulrich is nothing more than an annoying flea for you to flick off your shoulder.
Though I don’t really necessarily like you personally, I hate that d*ck infinitely more, though there’s no denying both of your musical legacies, yours well above his.
Most important thing is his health and well being, of course, but if we can get a kick ass new record, well, I’m not going to complain. The last one was awesome.
