Sebastian Bach Announces Tour (Fingers Crossed!)
Sebastian Bach will hit the road in 2021 to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the debut Skid Row album. The tour will hopefully kick off in May and Bach will perform all of Skid Row in its entirety. Right now, there are no dates coming near me, but hopefully more shows will be added - if things progress as planned and the tour gets to happen.
Alright get ready for the #FingersCrossed #Tour 2021 w Special Guests @stitchedupheart ❗

Aside from all that, why it will be interesting to see and HEAR how well Bach nails the material. This could be a real litmus test as to who really “owns” it — Bach or Skid Row minus Bach.
Let’s just hope we live to see it.
p.s. Looking over the tour “poster” graphic did cause me to check out opener Stitched Up Heart ... Though I found them to be virtually unlistenable, I did notice, unless I’m not reading the info in their website correctly, Bach and Stitched Up Heart are currently touring together ... Check out their site, as, if this IS the case, you can go see ‘em now, that is, if they’re playing in your area ... And you can give us a full report on Bach’s chops.
I think Bach has been sounding better in recent years. I would certainly catch this show if it happens. And I certainly hope it does. Lots of chatter on other Neanderthal sites about how he is playing in out of the way venues. Well, this is 2020. Bach can still draw a crowd, and likely a slightly bigger crowd than Skid Row. But still. What are people expecting?
All that said, perhaps he might consider doing some Halford-esque vocal warm-ups! I found that whole situation hilarious. Bach was being sensitive and protective. Halford handled the question like a champ. And I was starting to get a bit tired of Halford's "Metal God" shtick recently. But, boy oh boy, did he win me over with his responses. It's a joke. Move on.
Metalboy!, I clicked on some of those links. They seem iffy to me. So I suspect their website isn't up to date and a quick check showed that all of those links are not secure. Then I did a check for one of the venues (the second one in WA). It has the show listed as postponed.
as for the opener, i’m a fan of stitched up heart. not sure why, but i have liked them for several years. they are a lot better live than in studio though. since i can’t really explain why i like them i totally understand why others don’t.
Stu, I am gonna give them a shot based on your suggestion. After digging around for my previous post, I was a bit turned-off by the lady wearing elf ears in a few photos. Not my thing. By the way how was Tora Tora?
Jeff, oh he is . . . and Kermit, and Miss Piggy. It will be a great show. VIP tickets get you a seat next to Statler and Waldorf in the balcony.
as for stitched up heart - the elf ears are only when she plays dungeons and dragons. but the colored hair comes and goes. mixi is a wild card for sure. but they always seem to be having fun on and off stage. the newer music is a bit more polished but that’s the way new metal seems to go. same with too much screaming.
And glad to hear that Tora Tora are/were great live. I'd love to see them live.
Again, appreciate it.
