A small, but relevant highjack. This was just posted on Ted Poley's (Danger Danger) personal Facebook page. Btw, this hits close to home simply because Ted lives about a mile from me. My wife is good friends with his next door neighbor and my son's guitar teacher is good friends with him. I often see him at different stores and if he's in line in front of me, I sometimes start singing one of his songs, to which he turns around and gives me the horns.


Here's his post asking people to take the pandemic seriously:.

For all of you out there who are getting tired of masks or do not believe that the virus is real, I am waiting with my mother while they pull the plug on her husband.
Within 12 hours of symptoms he was in the ICU, they are now pulling the plug as I speak.
Please take this thing seriously. You do not want to go through this.
And now of course I’m terrified that my mother has it. This is not political. This is a virus. It has just killed a close member of my family.
