About Those New Tommy Lee Tracks...
Here you go: Tommy Lee's new music. Two new songs off his forthcoming album ANDRO.
In the first song below, Tommy Lee is barely in the video at all. You can hear his voice sometimes I guess. I have never heard of PUSH PUSH before but I like the lady with the purple hair. I mean, I would totally get my hair dyed that way but I am still staying away from hair salons and having color like that is exceptionally expensive to maintain. The fact that I am reviewing a woman's hair color and not the music should tell you everything you need to know about this track. Listen for yourself.

Tommy's second new track is below. I didn't notice Tommy at all in this video but maybe I just missed him. I do not hear his voice here at all either - so perhaps his contribution is the electronic music. I am not sure. To be honest, I do not know what to say about this one at all. I listened to the end but I will not give it a second spin.
2020 man. It has everything: presidential impeachment, the plague, systemic racism, riots, a crazy economy, murder hornets and new Tommy Lee music featuring no drum work at all. Keep an eye out for the locusts and mudslides. Both must just be around the corner.

Second track sounds slightly like some era of Manson. Can’t pick cuz the dude is all over the place.
I think that he is providing a platform (which is a good thing) for artists who are willing associate with him because of his largesse. His project. His money. They get publicity. What does Lee get? Edgy street cred with certain circles. A shot in the arm (this one isn't a drug, Mr. Sixx). And, hey, some people like it. Bkallday owned his enjoyment of MoM. So who am I to criticize? Musical tastes are very personal.
Push Push seems to be a person in search of an identity. I looked her up and there is a lot of stuff out there about her. Here is how one article put it:
"The first time I met Nicci St. Bruce—or Push Push as she's known in her musical incarnation—I hated her. A lot of people do. That's what happens when if you're a brash, stylish woman who owns her ****: you're polarizing. But it's taken some time to find out just what exactly that **** is."
She strikes me as a less-talented version of Banks, just rapping. If that makes sense, then you know who Banks is. If it doesn't, check out "Beggin' For Thread." Good song, weird video. But Push Push does the same affected cadence changes, just hyper-driven to, um, I guess, um, make her point? Or perhaps it is just easier to say she is another version of the Lana Del Rey/Pantera/Tori Amos/Alice in Chains syndrome: bounce around from genre to genre until something sticks. Nothing wrong with that necessarily. Sometimes what sticks is, it seems, where they were meant to be. So I wish Push Push a great great career career.
This isn't for me, personally. But that's okay. As I said in a previous post, Lee can do whatever the hell he wants. I don't mean **** to him or his fans. Nor do my opinions about him being a creepy guy. I loved him in my youth. So he got that. But, again, I am less important to him than those people reselling his signature. And, truly, when you are making money reselling Lee's signature, that means both you and Lee are doing something right.
The Crue (tour) is dead! Long live (the early albums by) the Crue!
Huh-uh-uh-lo-oh, Rock & Roll?!!!
