AC/DC Are Back (Maybe)

The official AC/DC social media channels lit up out of nowhere today. Check out the lightning bolt tweet below. The sound is of a guitar being plugged into an amp. The last time the official AC/DC account posted a tweet was August 2, so it has been quite a few weeks. Now people online are speculating that AC/DC will announce a new album or tour very soon.

I'm here for new AC/DC music so let's get this show on the road!

I can’t help but be happy and excited about this. I’m trying to manage my expectations, as I know a new album won’t measure up to ACDC’s peak, but so what? Even if the new album is only at the level of Black Ice and Rock or Bust, that’s still pretty good.

Hated Rock or Bust, too cheesy. Liked Black Ice though. Hopefully this one, which I would guess will be their last, will be a classic & one to go out on! Legendary band with an even more legendary catalog. 🤘🏼

AC/DC are legends. Even if their recent output (and I could go on about how recent) is a touch lackluster, they still deserve all the acclaim they get for their contributions to rock music.

Their approach to business and their legacy and their employees? Eh, not so much. As I have said elsewhere, it is a bummer to look behind the curtain. That said, I would still see this iteration of the band live. And that is saying something.

AC/DC World Tour 2025!!! Can't wait!!!
