'Sonic Slam' Tour Announced

Tom Keifer, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat are going on a tour together and calling it "Sonic Slam 2022." The tour runs during June and July. Tracii Guns poked fun at the tour's name on Twitter earlier today. That post is below. This tour looks like a lot of fun and there are lots of Ohio dates for a Midwestern girl like me!

just wait until tracii gets to the dallas (plano) venue. it’s an outdoor courtyard surrounded by 3 stories of food court and parking lots in a high-end shopping/condo center. they’ll slam right in.

And so could Keifer … But not for the right reasons … RIP La Bar … And RIP Brittingham and Curry, even though they ain’t dead … RIP Cinderella … For proof of why you don’t need to bother seeing Keifer anymore, just roll the videotape …

He is a mere shell of what he once was in Cinderella and his “new” band of Nashville nobodies blow by comparison … Too bad he went the way of Breck Michaels.

Saw The Mighty Keifer and his Incredible band many times, Dead center. Without a doubt …. Incredible shows. Been to numerous Cinderella shows through the years and all were Awesome but the Keifer solo shows are just plain better. You can really tell Tom is in a good place and away from the toxicity. 🤘🏿

Hi Metalboy,

Please do not ever compare Tom Kiefer to Bret Michaels - present day or otherwise.

Tom’s voice may not be what it once was but he remains an insanely gifted songwriter, performer and musician who pushes his music and touring with the enthusiasm of a young artist.

The other guy dresses like a banana while singing “achy breaks heart” on national TV; when he isn’t hocking dog collars, or re-re-re-recording his estranged band’s hits.

… I don’t think Tom wears a wig or has weekly Botox appointments either. Probably too busy playing guitar to concern himself with such frivolity.

Mike - Of course, Kiefer is superior to Michaels … The comparison lies within the formula of going solo with lessened impact, i.e. Kiefer in Cinderella vs. Kiefer solo and Michaels in POISON vs. Michaels solo.
