M3 Rock Festival Postponed (Again)

M3 Rock Festival isn't happening this spring (no kidding). Apparently a new date is being chosen and I will pass along when the announcement is made.

Another bummer for the summer concert/festival season. But a logical decision forced upon them by reasonable guidelines. I feel for all the workers, etc., impacted by this continued problem.

I, like everyone here, can't wait for a concert. It feels like I am thinking about unicorns right now! But I know it is gonna happen. Just going to take some time. And, at least initially, it is gonna be an odd experience, though an experience to which I look forward.

And let me throw down the 'feel good' gauntlets: (a) we need a BBG! gathering once things are back to normal, centered around one of the now-elusive festivals; and (b) when Ministry announces a new tour (and you know Ian--I kid, Al--will announce one), I am buying tickets for me and my buddy, Bkallday.

Hope everyone is well as we head out of the week and into the weekend.

What a great idea Him. A big party when this is all said and done and a chance to hang out with some of the folks here that we've gotten to know over the last decade and more.

I'm booking the next Monsters of Rock cruise for sure when its a go. With the cruise ship format. Not the resort version they were trying to peddle. Be nice to see some other folks there too.

Or maybe Wacken. That would be amazing as well. See a few German castles to boot.

It's nice to dream about normal life again. I need the reality of it soon, as I'm sure we all do.

Thanks for the kind nod, Rita, and hello to you again!

Love the idea of a floating BBG! gathering. Also love the idea of a European concert (another thing I have never done).

Germany is amazing, as is Austria. Have you been, Rita? The castles are, sigh, amazing. Burg Liechtenstein, just outside of Vienna, which has been featured in movies, is a great introduction and the walking grounds around it are simply amazing. Lots of history. Lots of great food. An experience to experience . . . and a metal festival?!?! Sign me up once we can get back to that sort of reality!

Hi HIM,

I have not been to Germany or Austria yet, but i would love to go one day soon when traveling is an option again. I would love to do a tour of castles, as I have recently been fascinated by some of the pictures I have come across. I don't know much about their history but would love to learn.

And Wacken has been a goal for me the last few years as well. Hopefully, one day soon.

You won't be disappointed, Rita. The people, the food, the architecture . . . it is so nice to see another way of living. You realize what you are lucky to have and what you are unfortunate to miss out on. This big marble is a small place. We are lucky when we get a chance to confirm that fact.
