Dirty Honey Releases New Song 'California Dreamin'

Dirty Honey will release their self-titled debut on April 23. The first single from that album is California Dreamin' and no, it isn't a cover of the popular tune by the same name.

I wonder if those introductory lyrics are a nod to "American Band" or to Muddy Waters or just me picking something up that ain't really there (a sonic version of phantom limb)? Either way, yes, this does indeed rock. Good on them. They wear their influences well and would be one of the first bands I would love to see in a small club once 'all of this' is over. Hell, a tour with Joyous Wolf would be incredible!

If this album is anything like their EP, it will be epic. Again, good on them.
