I Won't Lie: I'm Jealous
I found myself contemplating how feasible it would be to take a trip every month once vaccinated. I determined that this wouldn't be financially or environmentally responsible, but I did enjoy the fantasy of jumping on a plane constantly and just going somewhere... for fun and with careless abandon again. You have to think concert venues are going to require vaccines - at least at first. Seeing our beloved musicians get those vaccines just makes live shows seem a little more closer, doesn't it?

I want to live again and this sounds like the best way to move back to some semblance of normal life. At least the risk of severe illness and death would be vastly reduced.
I would take one today if I could.
Hopefully we are back to having good times again soon. We all need it.
But . . .
We still have to mind ourselves and think of others. Our ability to play is still circumscribed by our responsibility to protect the rest of the population. So masks will still be a thing for awhile. Respectfully, GNR, faking proof is lying to yourself and putting others in harm's way. I know that will past muster for some. For me? I will enjoy a concert with a mask if that is what is needed, just so other can do the same . . . long after that concert is over (and even if they think I am being a dolt for doing it).
I won't speak to my fears about the upcoming Spring Break (or the news that is coming out in advance of it). What I will say is this: I hope everyone is doing well, staying safe, and finding ways to let that light at the end of the tunnel shine on them and those they love.
