Sad Update About Mike Howe's Death

Mike Howe, Metal Church singer, died a few days ago. The sudden death was ruled a suicide. Just one more reminder that mental health must be talked about more openly. The stigma and jokes about people being "crazy" need to go. Remember, you don't have to suffer alone - there are resources and people to help.

Sad news. RIP and condolences to his family, friends, and fans.

I was a Wayne (also RIP) 'Ton of Bricks'-era MC fan. But Howe contributed some great stuff over the years.

Well said ABC! Mental illness does not discriminate. We ALL suffer (in some way) at some point in our lives. The sad part is some suffer way more than others. Today’s kids are more comfortable than my 80’s generation was in battling stigma (people back then just turned their head and ostracized). But there’s a ways to go.
