Faster Pussycat Teases New Music!

In what is maybe the world's shortest new song tease, Faster Pussycat is promising new music later this month! The new song will be called "Like A Ghost" and it comes out November 28. Another song called "Pirate Love" (Johnny Thunders cover) will come out the same day. You can pre-order the songs at all the usual digital places. I have high hopes for these two tracks!

Glad to see Faster Pussycat’s still at it!

And now that John 5 is in the picture, will Mötley Crüe do the same?

I bought the 7” they released last year, which was “Nola” / “Pirate Love”.

“Nola” is a great song and return to form after Taime spent the last 20 years blurring the lines between Pussycat and Newlydeads. Don’t get me wrong, the Newlydeads were great (first album is especially awesome), but it’s nice to hear Faster Pussycat sound like Faster Pussycat again.

Interesting that the core sleaze bands - Pussycat, LA Guns and GNR - all released new music last year… and the band with the biggest draw put out the only stinker of the lot (Absurd rhymes with Turd).

Come on, Mike! Absurd was funny. Fleeting? Yes. But funny. It was the sound of cash-grabbing old timers acting naughty. Did they get in the ring? Nah. But no one does these days!

If you get old school vibes from that spastic second or two of a tease, you are truly a fan. Thing is, so am I. So, perhaps there is hope for all of us. And that isn't just me whistling "Muscat Love" (giggle).
