As I Figured, 'The Stadium Tour' Adds Even More Dates

Yesterday, I posted that The Stadium Tour added a show in Indianapolis and I assumed there would be more dates added. I was right. Today, Motley Crue announced five more dates added to the tour. Out of curiosity, I looked up the Cincinnati date. There are lots and lots of seats left. Folks like me took the refund back after the first COVID-19 cancellation. I never repurchased and I won't buy in advance for this tour, still. I suspect lots of seats will be available week of the shows for cheap. Anyone else taking this approach?

"Anyone else taking this approach?"

Allyson, I think you meant: "Everyone should take this approach!"

As I said in the previous post, I get it. Bands need to make money. Fans need to have some fun. But the logic of this tour was, pre-pandemic, a bit iffy. And it isn't less iffy now.

I hope everyone who goes has fun. This is one of those "squint and it seems the same" sorta' affairs. Sad thing is, more and more of them are. And I speak from experience. If I go to many more of these sorts of shows, I am basically going to have my eyes closed! Speaking of which, is there a comparable term for squinting when it comes to our ear holes?!?!

everything that goes through live/master for me is a wait and see event for a while. the bigger events just don’t interest me right now - and that’s said since i used to hit 80-100 concerts a year.
and this show … as much as i like the individuals, i have seen them all a bunch, why spend the money and see them in a stadium not made for these things (dallas show is at a baseball stadium.) not to mention, just how long is this show gonna be each night?

I love all the bands on this bill, but am not all that interested. I hate seeing bands at stadiums - crappy sound and you're sitting 8 miles away, even in the good seats.

That said, if good tickets come up for a good price, it wouldn't take much to twist my arm. Not buying right now, though.

I'm definitely taking that approach will all larger crowd shows. It is INSANE the amount of big tours being announced in all forms of music and the prices $$$ just keep climbing. You are going to see a little overload of concerts coming to the big cities and people not having the $$$ to see all the ones they want. So the wait approach is the best approach.
