Sunday's Best: Week 15, 2022

We made it through another week and also -- Happy Easter and Passover to those who celebrate.

Since this is a religious weekend for many, it makes sense to look back on some of Stryper's live performances. The Yellow and Black Attack shred their axes for Jesus and they have never wavered from their core mission to use rock to spread the gospel. Stryper Live is our Sunday's Best for this week.

Never my favorite. But I give them props for what they did/do. Were they adding a little something extra to the sound . . . even back in the day? If so, who cares? As we now know, a lot of bands were.

The band itself is still bringing it, even if the backstory drama is a bit odd to read about. Lots of things going on in their world. Secular things. But they are still going strong. I guess for every Gaines, there is a loss. Or something like that. Micheal, please don't smite me. Then again, I don't even know how one would smite someone. But that makes me a bit more afraid.

Stryper . . . "They're grrrrrreat!"
