'Pump It Up' -- The Circle, New Video

Sammy Hagar & The Circle just released a video for their cover of the Elvis Costello song "Pump It Up." The song is just fine - it's a surprising cover but the band sounds great and Sammy Hagar can sing anything. I can't help but laugh at the video, though. I mean, it's unintentionally funny. The way Sammy is dancing - or stomping - just makes me chuckle. Plus, the old tennis shoes on a bazillionaire is also funny to me. It's like wardrobe forgot that part of his outfit or something. Anyway, it's Monday and this is a good day to enjoy new music!

Never liked Hagar's music (you knew that). Would love to drink a beer with him (you also knew that). Great band. They also sound good. So there must be something wrong with me.

He dances like Glenn Hughes without the muscle memory! And, respectfully, he is also starting to look like a member of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, a band who I truly do like! I dare anyone to criticize Zoot and Janice! They are the heart of that band.

Oh, and he has to have one of the dumbest and meaningless band names in Rock & Roll History … He should release a box set retrospective of all his sh*t titled “Boring Music for Boring People”! … Zzzzzzzz …
